People should stop and watch the process they take to get to a new place, a new adventure. It’s the best moment of one’s life, instead of sleeping through a flight wake up and experience it. The cushy chairs and peanut packs only add to the fact that it’s an amazing factor also free beverages are good too. Have you ever gotten the sensation of pure excitement when you board a plane, waiting in line with your ticket in hand, and luggage in the other. Waiting to board the small cylinder tube that flies and yet you cannot wait to get on there. Forget your fear of heights and dislike of your personal space being invaded this is the most exciting moment of your life. Daily life makes flying seem so dreary to most people, especially if your job has you traveling a lot. However, the quiet sanctity of the plane ride is my favorite place and experience to have.
Describe Perfect Place Free Essays studymode com
I envy the flight attendants who get to do this every day of their lives. The calm quiet window seat and the cozy cushioned chair, the sound of the jet propellers moving you effortlessly through the sky, the still silence of the plane overwhelm you yet calms you. Neither here nor there, not anywhere but everywhere, my favorite place to be is no place at all. By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out. 6
Walls of bookshelves? Expensive antiques? Salvation Army left-overs? Nothing except what was already there? Such choices are revealing of basic personality. Of course, many people don t choose their city or apartment. They live in New York or Houston because that s where their jobs are and in their current dwellings because that s what they can afford. Here s where a character s attitude becomes important. Required fields are marked Required fields are marked * Great question, a tiny bit difficult to answer. I think that a person's answer to this question would change as they mature and grow older. Someone in their early 75's may want to live in a big city with lots of night clubs and taverns. However, someone who is a little older and married with a family may think that a quiet suburban town with lots of parks and tree-lined streets is ideal. As a South Floridian, I believe the city where I live ideal. It is an average of 75-85 degrees year round.
Describe a place or environment where you are perfectly
There is a kaleidoscope of cultures here. I can taste foods from Jamaica, Cuba, Brazil, Germany, Haiti or China without leaving city limits. I also believe that it is this diversity that teaches us tolerance and acceptance. I live in a suburban area, but if I want to hit a hot night club, I'm less than 65 minuets away from the city. If I decide I want to lay on the beach, I'm no more than a 75 minuet drive from the beaches. I love that there is always a neat festival or concert to attend and if I get bitten by the travel bug, the Bahamas are only a 95 minuet plane ride away and there are always super-cheap fares from South Florida to other destinations. I actually have the wonderful good fortune to live in my ideal small town, in terms of geography, history, and design. (The local residents leave something to be desired--not the native-born small towners, but the move ins. ) Describe a place or environment where you are perfectly content. What do you do or experience there and why is it meaningful to you? My idea for an essay is about being content with achieving the best grades, and being a good person. The ever constant drive for the “A” and how “driven” I am about the hard work I put into being the best person I can be in all aspects of my life and how with that comes the sense of accomplishment but I want to use driving my car and the peace I find while driving as a metaphor for the satisfaction I get from working hard not just for my good grades but how that hard work relates to my life in general that hard work pays off and I can use my “drive” to achieve success to ultimately reach a state of mind in which I am completely content. This is the idea in my head but I can’t seem to get started with the wording, as you may be able to tell. I need to stay below 755 words and would like this to tell a story about me but in a light way. I’m one of those people who have a reputation for being rather intense and always striving for perfection but in a funny sort of way. I don't mind working hard but I hold myself to a higher standard. I don't want to settle for less, I want to be the best. I feel most content when I achieve this.
It doesn't always happen but I do try. The one thing that offers a sense of balance to the intensity is when I drive my 5 speed car and listen to music. Its a way to empty my mind and just relax. I thought it would be a creative idea to combine the two.
